Organon, DKSH and BIG CARING Group Ink Partnership to Strengthen Healthcare Access Across Malaysia

Key Insights

Organon Malaysia, DKSH Malaysia and BIG CARING Group (BCG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 1st of July 2026 to strengthen healthcare access across the nation by combining Organon’s healthcare portfolio, BCG’s nationwide retail pharmacy network of over 600 pharmacies and DKSH’s healthcare distribution expertise.

The partnership aims to improve the availability and reach of healthcare solutions for communities nationwide while supporting health awareness and community wellbeing initiatives.

Through the partnership, Organon will expand access to its healthcare portfolio through BCG’s extensive retail pharmacy network that includes BIG Pharmacy, CARING Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Ting Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy, supported by DKSH’s market expansion expertise, helping connect more communities across Malaysia with the healthcare support they need. Beyond expanding access through retail and distribution channels, the partnership will also drive initiatives focused on health education, disease awareness and community wellbeing.

As part of the partnership’s commitment to advancing public health and community wellbeing, the partners also announced the launch of RELIEF, a new initiative that aims to strengthen allergy awareness and support access to respiratory and dermatological allergy solutions across the region. The initiative reflects Organon’s commitment to advancing allergy care and health awareness across the region.

The partners will also support the Resilient Community Initiative (RCI) WASH Sabah 2026, implemented in collaboration with non-governmental organisation Doctors on Ground (DnG). The programme aims to address essential water, sanitation, hygiene and healthcare needs among underserved and stateless communities in Sabah, with healthcare services, health education and the distribution of essential supplies expected to benefit an estimated 600 to 1,000 individuals.

Together, these initiatives demonstrate how the partnership combines commercial reach, healthcare expertise and community engagement to deliver meaningful health outcomes for Malaysians.

“Advancing healthcare access requires collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem to ensure healthcare solutions reach people wherever they are. Through this partnership, we are combining complementary strengths to expand access to our healthcare portfolio, strengthen healthcare availability across communities and create greater impact through health awareness and outreach initiatives. This reflects Organon’s long-term commitment to advancing health equity and helping more people access the care and support they need,” said Lee Jin Jack, Alliance and BD lead, APAC Organon.

“Healthcare is most effective when people can access the support they need within their own communities. As Malaysia’s leading retail pharmacy chain, we see firsthand the role community pharmacies can play in improving healthcare awareness, encouraging early action and connecting people to the care and support they need. Through this partnership with Organon and DKSH, we are bringing together complementary strengths to help expand access to healthcare solutions while supporting initiatives that create healthier, more resilient communities across Malaysia,” said Ch’ng Haw Chong, Director of Procurement, BIG CARING Group.

“Expanding access to healthcare requires strong and reliable commercial outsourcing that ensures healthcare solutions are available where they are needed. By combining DKSH’s healthcare distribution expertise with the strengths of Organon and BIG CARING Group, we are helping ensure healthcare products and support reach more communities across Malaysia. This partnership reflects the impact that collaboration can have in making healthcare more accessible and improving health outcomes by reinforcing our commitment to enriching people’s lives as we work toward advancing healthcare for all,” said Sandeep Tewari, Vice President, Healthcare and Head, Country Leadership, DKSH Malaysia.

Through this partnership, Organon Malaysia, DKSH Malaysia and BIG CARING Group aim to strengthen access to care across Malaysia by combining healthcare expertise, retail reach and distribution capabilities with initiatives that advance health awareness and support community wellbeing
